Places to stay in Auburn?

Jul 24, 2016, 11:40 AM

Anyone have recommendations for places to stay for the Auburn game? Trying not to break the bank. But would love to make the game! Also, looking for tickets that aren't half a mortgage payment as I'm sure many are.

TIA

A little late for Auburn.

We looked at places in Auburn about a month ago, and most were booked. It really doesn't matter where you stay as long as you're at the game before kickoff!

Looks like valley, Alabama has decent prices on hotels and it's not too far away. Your just going to have to pay to get tickets but this is our national championship year so it's worth it.

Last year we stayed at an extended stay about 3 miles from campus and Ubered downtown. We paid about $75 a night. It wasn't the nicest place, but did have a kitchen areas...you don't spend much time in the room anyway.

For those who have never been to auburn, make sure you are prepared to tape off your spot at 4 pm on Friday. As you drive through downtown, you will see kids camped early afternoon waiting for the official start time. No matter the game time, their fans head out about 9 am but as long as you have your spot roped off then you can go at any time. We had a fantastic time and the fans were amazing.
