is the same as choosing between Chris Smelley and Tommy Beecher, you're screwed either way. Now all you fantasy land whom think Nick S is the answer and will shred the Gamecocks, need to leave fantasy land. guy was 4th string and a walk on for a reason.

Sorry, but that is pure speculation. Until given the opportunity you do not know what Schuessler can and cannot do.

Maybe, and maybe not. The reason may just be that they favored Cole due to his tenure with the program, rather than him being worse than Scheussler. I really don't know, but, if you remember, the same ones were also telling us how much better job Cole Stoudt was doing and had earned the job over Watson, and that, absolutely, was BS. Coaches make starter choices for lots of reasons. Most are very solid and accurate decisions. Some are made for reasons as poor as, well, he has been here 4 years, and he has been a great leader, has a good work ethic, etc., but when the rubber meets the road, the guy just doesn't cut it. Bowden did that some with both players and with coaches, and it cost him his job.

The one thing that has bothered me is that is Dabo's reasoning for having Cole as a starter is because he paid his dues as a senior.And yet Morris comes out and says he has to simplify the game plan with Cole playing. The same guy who has been in the same system for years now has to have the game plan dumbed down for him? Makes no sense if he was the best chance for victories at the beginning or the end here of the season.
