being chicken #### to throw the flag. DBs are basically taught to commit PI as routine coverage technique now, and get away with murder because they know they will get away with it most of the time.

They tried that in the NFL and basically nothing got overturned regardless of how clear it was. Turns out you're not going to get officials to overturn judgement calls by officials without any sort of accountability for the officials. People don't like admitting they were wrong.
