Sometimes the road to the truth is so elusive it's confusing and reality becomes illusion.

And there is a ref right behind the Qb watching that....***

About refs. We’ve seen this crap all season. It’s like they view it as an equalizer to let opposing teams hold our guys.

Out OL does not do this..I’ve looked for it before I call out ref bias.

It will probably take a university athletic department…

Oct 18, 2022, 10:57 PM

…to enact a lawsuit against the INDIVIDUAL officiating crews before anything serious is done about the complete and total incompetence of ACC football officials.

Too drastic of an action? Think about the money that is at stake as a team is DENIED a CFP berth because of ACC football officiating, and such a lawsuit then begins to make a lot of sense.

Keep in mind that the lawsuit that resulted in NIL was about nothing other than MONEY.

No, but we get a holding call on a lttile tug on a linebacke

r in the middle of the field when we run wide that negates a TD....In th pic in the OP, I think FSU went on to score a TD on that drive didn't they....

they ALL do.
the refs let them know that it’s legal against Clemson.

If there is veto power, I trust that Clemson would NEVER allow that squad to officiate another game of ours. Between the uncalled holding and the bogus PI calls, I think my blood pressure went up to double normal. I rarely complain about officiating, but I swear those guys were on the take.

since the 2016 Pitt debacle. Doubt if we get another crew blackballed. And Duane is going to the NFL Good riddance.

Oh god wake was holding like a MFer. If you slow it down and watch especially on their big runs…I’m not a “blame the refs” kind of guy but officiating in the ACC has been awful this season.

It’s hard to believe this hasn’t been discussed with the ACC front office and refs.

This will make us better when we play in the playoffs but it’s not exactly fair to a team loaded with an awesome defensive line like ours.

Wake game wouldn’t have been close without the holding on every play blatantly.

I think if Cuse is flagged for holding against our defense, the official ought to receive a standing ovation. The band starts to play, balloons released…..no, not that. I got carried away!

I told my family watching that I predict that FSU would be called for zero holding penalties.

the 50 yardline,in the middle of the field, where the line judge and or the backfield ref could have and should have seen it, but you do see the one on Miller in the compacted space of the goal line, in traffic, then your are looking for the one and BLIND TO THE OTHER....

I know there's always in-game stuff to clean up (Miss tackles, drop passes..etc), but I can't imagine what the real scores of the last games would've been if we didn't avg 100 yrds worth a penalties a game, while the opponents got away with everything under the sun....especially HOLDING! Its literally been the main thing keeping these 6-10 pt games from being a 20-24 pt blowout.

Re: Photo - Tyler Davis Held by Two FSU Players

Oct 19, 2022, 9:59 AM

It was Tyler’s fault. He should have spun to his left and fallen flat on his face and they would have called it. That’s basically what Blake’s guy did except Blake did not have a hand on him. I guess another strategy would be to bowl them over and fall on top of them like the dude pulled you down. We have great D-linemen in need of acting classes.
