Anyone know when the pros legalized using range finders on the Tour. I’ve never seen it until yesterday when Phil and his caddy both used one on 18

It was only for this tournament. An experiment by the PGA of America.

were both allowed by the PGA of America for this tournament. I saw several players and caddies using the range finder in earlier coverage via computer stream.

IF YOU WATCHED THE BROADCAST YOU WOULD HAVE HEARD THE REASON FOR BOTH OF THOSE THINGS.

Are you really this angry in your real life? He asked a sincere question. We don’t all have the privilege of watching every second of the broadcast. You could have been constructive and explained the reasons then mentioned you heard it during broadcast but instead you attack the guy for absolutely nothing. You seriously need to check yourself. It’s one thing when we back and forth about coaches where there is at least a hint of a reason for a some heated disagreement. This was literally just a question about professional golf.

spellcheck please. lol if you knew me you would know i am one of the most laid back guys around. what i detest are coots claiming to be tigers and tigers that all they do is b!tch about our coaches and even worse our players. when that happens i chime in. and guess what that will always happen. no one agrees with everything going on at clemson but the constant b!tching does no good to anyone and certainly can not be good for recruiting.

Nice speech - I’m sure you’re super laid back in real life. Self awareness definitely seems like your strong suit. Now what did any of that have to do with a guy asking a question about range finders? Is that new code for “Brownell Sucks”. You went off on a dude for no reason, offer up this bizarre rationalization that does not even remotely address what you did. None of what you wrote applies to this thread. Beyond the fact that nothing empowers you to decide who is or isn’t Clemson fans this thread had absolutely nothing to do with Clemson fandom. So no reason for your triggered, angry nonsense. A real Clemson Man would simply apologize when so clearly busted for being in the wrong.

Lol - funny that you don’t remember we were total bros while we argued against firing Leggett. You’re the one that became a total hypocrite the actual second they finally fired him.

Sorry if I offended you. Some people have other things to do rather than sit on the sofa for 4 days and eat potato chips and drink beer while watching an entire golf tournament Thought it might be fun to come on here and interact with you guys but I can see I was wrong This place is nothing but a cesspool of politics and angry people

Thick skin is essential.
You fight thru lovers, haters, jokesters, even the occasional midnight toker.
Every now and then there is a football post. Finding one is a lot like catching a chocolate chicken.
I stay for the funnies and serious responses to obvious troll posts.

LOL at turning in a range finder. It would have been on eBay before I pulled out of the parking lot. Do you turn in golf balls that you find in a water hazard too?

I mean, it's not as bad as holding on to the sock of a rapper/football player who greased his weasel in your girlfriend, but it's pretty bad.

that are very accurate, no need to look for sprinkler heads anymore. Unless you hit it right down the sprinkler line, you have to estimate yardage off center even if you found a sprinkler head anyway.
