Woods being demoted to a 4 star across a few recruiting services goes to show how dumb, subjective, biased, whatever u wanna call it those sites are.

I sometimes have to verify what Tigernet says these recruits are classified as. Tavien Feaster was a unanimous rated 5 star RB that I later found out was a 4star on all the reputable big name sites. Which is still good but not 5 star Cj spiller good. 5 star is supposed to be special, out the box special. Some don't live up obviously but alot do. Especially at RB. And of course there are alot who aren't rated high enough and exceed expectations. 4star to me means above average and has a higher percentage chance to be elite. Meaning all conference player. I.e. Jeremiah Trotter.

He's always been a 4 star on most of the credible services. He's a 4 star on 247 and Rivals.
ESPN rankings are garbage and always have been.

Based on his composite, he’s been a 5 star since June. He is now a composite 4 star. Should’ve been more specific

Don't use On3 so can't speak to their recruiting rankings. You didn't point On3 out individually, you said a few recruiting services. I didn't realize being observant meant checking On3. Considering they're still relatively new I probably won't pay them any attention until they're more reputable.

Look at link above. He was 5* when he was ranked as Jr and actually as the #2 player in the nation. That is when everyone figured he would be a Bama cruit.

That's what I was basing it on too. I remember before he committed, he was the next coming. Can't miss, day 1 starter. Analyst saying he was college ready now and wherever he committed, he would start as a freshman.
I lost sight of following it after he committed. It's real. Don't ever remember a Bama or uga commit getting downgraded...at least not to this extent. I'm still hoping he starts day 1. Saying, hope he's that big dex ready too.

Gotcha. I rarely keep up with a recruit until after we get a commitment. I’ve only known Woods as a 4-star and that Rivals is going to bump him up to a 5-star.

If Peter Woods isn’t a five star then there’s no such thing as a five star athlete. The kid has dominated every level of HS and dominated in the all star games. If he were committed to Bama he would be a 5+ that’s why I no longer care about recruiting rankings

We’ve become a team that has a player commit to us and he sees a huge jump.
Don’t get me wrong. Peter Woods is our best commitment for this year and he’ll be a beast! Heckuva player that will contribute right away. I just don’t believe the recruiting rankings are against us. Actually, I’m a firm believer they’re tilted towards us now to help our classes look better.

I don't care how many stars he has, this young man looks like an absolute game wrecker along the lines of Aaron Donald. There's not a single team in the country that wouldn't be elated to have this young fella suit up for them every Saturday. Let them give him 4 stars instead of 5. Heck let them give him 3 stars, I bet it will do nothing but fuel him to show everyone how wrong they are. I think by the time he leaves campus to go pro everyone will be calling him Mr. Woods, regardless of stars.
