How many of you were at the Clemson - Troy game in 2016 when DW4 and the Tigers had a bad game and the Tigers barely won 30 - 24? How many of you can honestly say that you either said it or heard someone say to put in KB after DW4's 2nd INT?

I can see the responses now that DW4 also threw 3 TDs. Well one was a 1 yard pass to Wilkins and one was 35 yards to HR13. How far did HR13 run after the catch?

We all need to back off DJ and support him.

DJ is the 125th ranked QB .

He was according to Dabo going to be better than TL .

Dabo chews out players like Pace for screwing up...not a word to DJ

Play close to your potential and the support is there.

Playdown to your potential and it should be next man up like at ND or Bama when the starter isn't getting it done

Agreed Saddis, a lot of people don't remember some of the games we struggled to win that year. We were very lucky to beat NC St too and did lose to Pitt. I think one difference is we knew how good DW4 was so there was comfort in that. With DJ we are not sure, he does not have that body of work. I do agree people need to lay off of him. He is working his butt off to get better, how many people can say they were working at their craft at midnight on a Saturday night to improve and get better at 20 years old. He has heart and he is not trying to miss reads or throw bad passes. He is getting better, I think his run game improved Saturday which will help going forward.

I wouldn't compare a 1 game struggle of arguably the best player to ever put on a Clemson uniform to what's going on today u got to be kidding me.Watson was the man shouldve beaten Bama twice never showed fear he made our offense .Saban straight up feared Watson.Clemsons offense needs to hit the refresh button because this one will never win another Natty the way it's configured.

Well tgre, also in 2016, NC State missed a short FG in DV that would have won the game for them and Pitt did win in DV. Let's not forget DW4 threw 17 INTs in 2016 but by the end of the year was good to go. Oh yeah, that was in addition to the 13 INTs in 2015 and the 2 INTs in 2014 when he was a Freshman and partial year starter.

Everyone remembers the championships but don't remember all the facts.
