Baylon Spector is returning next year? Is that good or bad? Hopefully it doesn't cause someone to transfer. That will be his 6th year, right?

Per 247, Feb 1, 2017: Baylon Spector enrolls at Clemson

Assuming he then played the 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020 seasons. If he redshirted in '17, 2021 is his for the taking without the weird rules for this year.

He probably did redshirt, but he is listed as a graduate student already. He is listed as if this was his 5th year now already, so that next year would be his 6th. Who knows?

I don't see it as a problem. He has been solid as a starter. He could help the younger guys but 47 will be missed.

He is aggressive. If our safeties step up next year, we might have as good of a D as we have ever had.

The D-line will be great next year. I think the corners will be solid. I am not sure about the safeties.
