Yep they announced final show July 1 but they are both staying with network in other capacities.

I wonder if this opens up Packer to do a new national radio show? I kind of hope so because I rarely watched Packer and Durham, and I always thought Packer did a great job of covering the larger college athletics scene on his SiriusXM show.

I have always thought they should replay the P&D TV show on weeknights in prime time when more people can watch rather than the leftover rerun crap they show most of the time.

Too much straightforward news and insight and not enough sensationalism / clickbait = low ratings and canceled. That's TV for you.

Hope Packer is back on the airwaves soon in some form. One of the best voices of reason in the business.

I would like to see Mark Packer have an evening show on ACCN. He can bring Durham with him if he wants to do so. I've enjoyed watching the show on weekday mornings since I retired last year. A lot of working people did not have many opportunities to watch. It was much better than watching ESPN's morning TV broadcasts.

They tell things more straight forward without the vitriol like that bollard head with ears on the other network. Will miss them and their in-person interviews with athletes.
