Out Quick 'Em....

I don't remember whether it was Bobby Dodd or Bear Bryant when faced with the question of how his team could ever handle the pressure from a much larger opponent along the line in the trenches. His answer was, "Well, I guess we'll just have to out quick 'em". That's exactly what the Clemson OL and DL needs to do against UGA on 9/4/21..... out quick 'em.

Yes, there are some statistical mismatches in UGA's favor, but those statistics don't measure quickness and "want to" If our guys are as serious and sensitive as I think they are about the butt-whupping they got from OSU, UGA is in for a long night.

I suspect we're working on "quick" right now. "Quick" blocking, "Quick route cuts", "Quick pass releases", "Quick gap fills", "Quick twists" and "Quick play calls".

The game will come down to "Quick execution".

Yes, it will. CFB is a quick game. Boys come from High School, men play in the NFL. CFB separates the men from the boys, and speed has a lot to do with it. Figuratively speaking, of course...
