Our wide receiver corps didn’t show up

I’m not the biggest DJ fan. But, TLaw and Watson had some frisbee catching dogs. They made 50:50 passes seem like 90:10 in our favor. This present crew looks like the patients from bandaged up MASH ward.

You are right. But, he’s not Higgins, Renfro or Ross level yet. TLaw had all three plus guys riding the bench. I don’t think we had depth tonight.

The Collins WR crew for Clemson got a baptism under fire tonight! And really for the last half of the season. It should bode well for the Tigers moving forward as these players have some experience to them now. "Confidence" among them should be high.
The WR room is going to be fine!

Recruited scholarship players available...that tends to happen. But I thought they did fine. That's tough defense, they are true freshman and made several plays
I can understand the frustration but not fair to pick on our Wars ..or lack thereof

we just win 10 and all you can do is #####. very sad. what a guy you must be. we just beat a good team with 28 scholarship players unavailable. just slither away

I made an accurate observation. DJ didn’t have very many options in the passing game. Not his fault that the injury bug and the portal took their toll.

Really good receivers seem to make great plays for great quarterbacks. The confidence that the ball will be catchable coming from a Trevor Lawrence QB is apparent. A receiver

Ross should have never been in the slot. And why did it take so long to get both Collins guys significant playing time? I mean I know guys got hurt but once they got on the field I thought they played much better than Ngata, Williams and those guys.

Two of our freshmen receivers showed up

Dacari and Beaux Collins did well, all things considered.
The main problem with our passing game is the QB can't be trusted to throw more than 5 yards without something bad happening.
If Cade is who we think he is, most of the people here belly-aching about our receivers will be quiet. I look forward to that very much.
