So I went to see there reaction on Todd bates and stumbled onto something interesting. They have a credible source that said uga offered Caleb Williams a 1-2 million dollar nil deal to come play for them. I don’t think a school can offer a deal, but that’s the just of it. Said that he is gone after the championship game. If it actually comes true there is a major problem there.

Did you see this one over there. If this is true, no wonder A&M has the #1 class and I don't see how Clemson can keep up with that

If the NIL continues to go essentially unabated with no caps or limitations it will eventually reduce college football to whoever raises the most money wins a championship. I hope that at some point soon that either the NCAA or (dare I say it) the Feds step in and make this whole NIL thing a level playing field because it ain't right now.
Until then, all I can do as a spectator is vote with my own dollars and viewing habits. As College football gets closer to being a "money buys the best team" sport I will probably drop out of the whole darn thing. The last thing I'm going to do is give my money to an athletic scholarship fund that provides a free education to athletes making more money than I do...

Schools cant offer these deals but lets not kid ourselves...they have a hand in it, its just who the actual facilitator is. I'd be shocked to see him leave since Jeff Lebby is coming in to lead OU's offense but thats a lot of money and good for the kid if that's the case.
I hate to believe internet chatter...but nothing surprises me anymore.
