OT Clemson gets a terrific new Fire and EMS Chief

Rick Cramer, Deputy Chief of the Blufftin Township Fire District, has been appointed as the next Fire & EMS Chief for Clemson University.

He is a terrific professional, well qualified, and will be a great asset to the University and the Fire EMS department.

I'll admit to some positive bias.
Rick is a personal friend. We worked in many joint projects for years before I retired from Hilton Head Island Fire Rescue. We attend the same church.

He is a really good guy, a strong leader, and now he's a Tiger!!!

Among other things, he's responsible for the EMS and Fire-Rescue planning and coverage for Death Valley on game days. So, he'll get work even if it's the non emergency kind.
