Clemson in a town of a little over 14,000 pulled in 37,000. Do the math.

Re: Full stadium***

what does it matter how many people osu had at a spring game? we beat them last year in the orange bowl and now we need to compare spring game attendance? and the what if we had won the national championship theory, it also does not matter because our stadium does not hold that many fans, so once again what does it matter? we just need to WIN the acc and see what happens IF we get in the playoffs, that should be what matters!

Hogwash, there is a clear message here. By any measure, with a city that large, my math tells me any respectable fan base would have had at least 2.5 million people there.

Clemson has the smallest local population base of all 66 schools in the Power 5 conferences plus Notre Dame and BYU. The ACC. Considers BYU as the same as a Power 5 member.

Los Angeles County has 20,000,000 people

Apr 19, 2015, 7:33 PM

and USC and UCLA combined had nowhere near 20,000,000 attend their spring games!

Columbia has 133,000 people and had 22,000 at their spring game. That like OSUs attendance is pretty meaningless info. More meaningful (for what it's worth which is not much) is that OSU stadium was at 90% capacity - pretty good even for a team the just won the NC.
