Why do y’all think covid is spreading so fast in Oregon?

The question is a scientific one, but I guess replied could meander into the Twilight er, the PnR zone....
Oregon’s cases have generally been low, but all of a sudden have skyrocketed....

My unscientific guess would be folks there are not taking it seriously. In India (over 200,000 dead) it is because folks are packed tight and have less medical help.

and low numbers. Now with opening back up, it’s catching up. I also think there is a HUGE factor of Vitamin D in how this thing attacks. Both MI and OR aren’t known to the most sunny places on earth.

This combined with a healthy dose of anti-vax hippies

It has to run its course at some time, the goal was to get a vaccine first though. If they were stringent and disciplined and kept numbers low but then refused vaccinations, then when things open back up it would be a real beyotch.
This is only a guess though, I do not care to debate anti-vax numbers, etc

You can't afford to buy the actual product on Amazon, so you made do with a knockoff that you found lying on the ground. Nobody should ever question your ingenuity in trying to keep up with those living above the poverty level. Now I'm anxious to see your finished pallet deck!

lol.
only reason I responded is because I saw the same headline somewhere and I'm going out there in a week or two. I'll be in rural areas and will just hold my breath until I get out of Portland. I'll prolly die from lack of oxygen first in this case.
