Open letter to Nuk

Greetings Nuk!
I hope this note finds you well, and I'm certain the only thing delaying your announcement to return is that you are still busy writing your speech. We get that you are not a "media" guy, and won't get up there and just wing it like Tajh did. Your too shy for all that, and that's not your thing. Clemson Nation has no problem with that.
You and I both know that if you really were going to the NFL you would have already announced. A quick 5 min presser, and off to Arizona or wherever to train. If it were that simple, it would be already done. Your stated prior goal was to become a 1st round draft pick, and unfortunately that's not likely at this point. I'm not real sure what those pro guys look for, because I'd pick you in the first round in a hurry.
There is no doubt that you LOVE Clemson, always have, and always will. It all began when you were a young'n running around watching your cousin Terry Smith. Today you have cousins that hold you in an even higher regard. These guys range from young children to whom you give hope, to teenage boys that will be joining you next year. You are grounded enough and have enough family/friends in the area that you will stay and enjoy your final year. A MNC run, mentoring your incoming cousins, another year with Sammy/Tajh, etc are all factors to cite throughout your speech. Dabo's plan for building a program? You are the cornerstone. Think about it: Your church, pastor, family, friends, teammates, et all are all here, and you only have 1 year left in your life to walk with them all at once.
Because you were blessed with humility, you will not mention any personal gain during your speech. You are well aware, however, that returning will solidify your spot in the Clemson ROH and guarantee a retired jersey.
Your press conference will go down in Clemson history as unforgettable. In terms of significance, it will rival Tebow's speech while at FL. You will speak with passion about your love of Clemson like no one else has. You may even shed a tear during your talk. And that's ok. Many of us will join you. Your speech will also be shown to recruits for years to come, and will sway a few kids over future years.
My favorite part of your speech will be when you mention that you’ve lived a little and died a lot with every Clemson win and loss. It will send chills up my spine when you bang the podium with your fist and declare Clemson to be BACK FOR GOOD. Your mere mention of the fans yelling NUUUUUUUUK after every catch will make everyone in Clemson Nation proud.
Thanks for coming back, Nuk! See you at the Valley for the UGA game.
Kind regards, Luvdemtgrs
**PS Don’t mention the Clemson ladies during your speech

1) Nuk won't really read it, so it won't bother him.
2) You sense any tongue-in-check in the post?

umm...he would be a top 15 pick, IMO. there is nothing he hasn't done better than Julio Jones, who the Falcons spent their lives on to get in the top 10.

Julio Jones 6'3", 220 lbs, 4.39 40 Deandre Hopkins 6'1" 200 ibs, 4.56 40
I'd say there's a pretty good difference

Julio also broad jumped 11'4" at the combine. I think Nuk is a great player but I'm not betting on that out of him.

Life is good. You should try it sometime, or heck, just for kicks and giggles at least find a website that covers the team for which you consider yourself a 'fan'. Hanging out all day on a site representing a team you dislike, well, that makes no sense. And if you insist on hanging out on this site, at least try to get better at wit. As it stands now, you just plain suck at it.

A team I dislike? I don't dislike Clemson.

In fact, in the recent past, I've like Clemson a lot more than South Carolina. In football, anyway.

hard to tell that, but I'll take your word for it. Regardless, the rest of it applies. Who is your favorite college football team, by the way, and why? Did you got to college?

I started liking USC football a little bit again this year. I guess I would call them my "favorite".
You think I dislike Clemson because I make fun of them. I make fun of everyone and everything, including USC and myself.
It's a way to cope with my utter lack of self-esteem. Or perhaps it's a way to feed my massive ego. I go both ways on it.

{sarcasm}
Even letting that idea cross your mind is a real good example of the strange sense of relevance you seem to garner here. Sports message boards can do that to some people, I guess. Ties into the whole "get a life" thing if you stop and think about it. ..Now that IS funny, albeit it wasn't your intention.
No offense man. I think its pretty cut and dry, but not worth 'arguing' about. Anyway, I hope you enjoy your day here. I'm stepping outside for some lunch.
