Open Letter to ESPN Employees

Oct 23, 2015, 10:14 AM

Deer,

ESPN employees if you do not realize it by now, open your eyes. You employer has made fatal, enterprise-destroying contractual investments and very frankly aligned with mediocre properties that are not delivering the revenue planned. Your masters terminated over 250 peers this week and, very frankly, will have to continue to do the same type cutting for years to come.

At this point, I strongly encourage you to seek other employment and when you do so you may be free again to speak your own mind and present your own opinions versus selling out your journalistic soul to shill the prescribed messages of your failed empire's masters. Please try to find a way to get the Kool-Aid out of your veins and see the world for what it is. You are being used to spew pure swill and it devalues your own personal brand that you have worked hard for years to build.

I good time for other networks to hire their off-fall and start really challenging the ESPiN monopoly on sports. Maybe they can beat them to a Netflix contract since all the leagues contracts are for TV broadcasting rights. Maybe Fox or someone can be the leader in Live Streaming sports and get a contract with power five conference for Streaming through Netflix and others. Would crush the cable companies.

Very, Very Excited. Very, Very Proud.

Perhaps they could join other networks which have less bias. Frankly if I were the conference presidents and ADs of the ACC I'd tell Swoffie to find another television option for our network ASAP! Either get it done or be fired! If ESPIN wants to promote the SEC then let that conference have them.

Go Tigers!
