blown coverage for like the 3rd time during the game gave up the points..then the kick return for a td..refs didnt beat us bad play did.

Well on a punt the defense can only down it. On a kickoff they have to field it. He can call a fair catch and they have to give him the opportunity to catch it. Kearse wasn't in position to catch it so it wouldn't matter.
