Looks like a good line up. Just need to know what that would be worth vs the Power 2 money.

Well, no more mean tweets. The thought of that should keep you warm in retirement. LOL.

Seems logical. Perhaps rename it the Atlantic West Coast Conference. Move Notre Dame and another east coast team to the East division. Then add three B12 teams to the West division to get to 20 teams.

Add ND, west VA, cuse and BC to the east

Ok state, Baylor, texas tech, idk... tcu to thr west

You play 9 games against your division

Play 2 against other divison

Play 1 out of conference

Championship game is in Dallas

Getting close.

Need to include Notre Dame with a few teams robbed from B10 in a Great Lakes Coast division, then you'll have an idea to present to the TV execs.

Inside strategy by my Alma Mater to advance immediate admission to the BiG, and it may offer ideas for others hoping to snare a seat at their table.
With our Pac-10, uh 12, oops 10 again in total free fall, Arizona State University, the largest on campus student body in USA with a 2022 enrollment of 55,000 is reputedly trying a sweetner to gain an invite from the BiG.
ASU is already slated to gain that coveted entrance into the Association of American Universities ( AAU) in 2025 and fully understands no AAU no BiG membership.
Thus, ASU is supposedly pledging to use 50% of the significant boost from sports- derived income that they would see once in the BiG. purely on academic purposes, not sports.
Current Pac revenue to members is pegged at around $38 million while the BiG will pay members close to $100 million. ASU scheme has them spend 50% of that increase, over $30 million exclusively toward academic enhancements including faculty salaries, academic infrastructure etc. None of the 50% increase would go to athletic purposes. This money is 100% intended to assure and expedite AAU status and the pledge would not be continued once ASU receives AAU designation. They know the time is now and hope this tactic will meet the BiG AAU requirement before officially granted.
Stay tuned.

I'd love to have Penn State, but no way they are giving up $100,000 to go to the ACC. No one will. Including Notre Dame.

Without some truly ingenious and mind-blowing negotiations and chess board moves from the ACC commission, this conference is a dead man walking. I am personally fine with it. Let those azzhats in Greensboro choke on a dozen basketballs.

new Big & SEC lineups, and command a much smaller TV deal. It's all about matchups that will attract national audiences. Pitt vs Cal, NC State vs Stanford, UVA vs Washington, Miami vs Arizona, even FSU vs Oregon... are not "can't miss" TV when compared to the SEC and BIG games of the week. Especially when they're getting hyped 24/7 by ESPN & Fox. Clemson and Notre Dame would still be the only big kids on the block... and that's IF we could get Notre Dame... a big IF.

I'm afraid it would basically be Clemson trying to carry a 16 or 20 team conference. And the other teams mentioned as possibilities like BYU, WV, Cincy. etc... pretty good teams, but not a lot of "star power" nationally. No, I can't see any possible ACC combination of leftovers that can compete with the BIG or SEC... we gotta move.

With all these teams leaving the ACC let's stay in the ACC, and live off of their GoR revenue until 2034. Who knows what the CFB landscape will look like then.
