Clemson over ND
Utah over Michigan
Florida over Ole Miss
Of the three other teams in front of us, Ohio State, TCU, and Baylor haven't played a single team that has been ranked at any time this season.

LSU's "ranked win" was against Auburn.

Michigan State's was against Oregon who's now 3-3 and just lost at home to Wazzou.

Has there ever been a more "hey they're SEC, so let's just throw them in the rankings" team than Mississippi State?

haha for sure. It's always funny because Mississippi State will beat UL-Monroe, Alabama-Birmingham, and then beat some middling SEC team like Arkansas 28-17, and somehow get ranked Top 15. Then they play Bama, lose 38-7, and ESPN raves about how Bama dominated a quality team like Mississippi State.

Yea that's true...if we're counting "ranked at any point this season" then Alabama & Texas A&M beat Arkansas....even though they played them after they had been unranked.

Yea and we're getting to the point of them not really being a fluke. It's still early, but Florida's defense is for real, even if their offense is 'meh'. However Michigan is playing extremely motivated football. They opened up -7 in Vegas for their matchup with Michigan State next weekend. If they win that, I think they're definitely going to jump into the Top 10.

Michigan looks very strong! Clemson just needs to keep winning and we will have our shot and that's all you can ask for. I like the Tigers chances against anybody and I like the fact they take no one for granted

Very true. I don't think we need to pay attention to other teams when it comes to our future. If we take care of our business, then we'll be fine.
However from a college football perspective, it's very interesting to see two marquee programs like Michigan and Florida making noise so early on with highly-touted head coaches.
