Clemson football is listening to Tiger bands rendition of “Dixie” played almost constantly during many games, Something that I will never forget and something many of you never had the chance to experience. There is nothing in that song that could be considered racist as I see it and I will always consider myself as a man of the south, away down south in Dixie,

I enjoyed it also when I was at Clemson. The song was the favorite song of Abraham Lincoln while he was President of the United States. But it would not be right since many Blacks consider it racist and we have so many minorities on our team now. We started recruiting black players in the late 1960s. Frank Howard said if we could recruit them earlier he would have been able to coach longer than he did.

I have heard a lot of bands play Dixie in my 77 years. NOBODY could play it like TIGERBAND!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is a song for Southerners so therefore it is racist. Is the black national anthem racist. If not, lets have a white national anthem. The present national anthem is for everyone of every race.
