Oldest grand daughter got excepted to CU WOO-WOO

She so disappointed in not getting accepted in the 1st round sent out late last year. But, gor in the 2nd round. Interestingly, she was accepted by U-Tenn in their first round and offered her instate tuition (she lives in SC) + $15K/yr schorlarship which was within $10K of CU instate. Go figure.

I don't think the legaasy of family CU grads carry as much weight as it used to. She is an honor HS student etc. We are a Clemson family.

I am a CU grad, my wife, her father, brother, our son his wife, her sister/husband, her brother, I think there maybe some more.

Happy for her and her parents who raised a fine Christian future Clemson grad.

We are ALL IN.....

Likely the only legacy relations that would have any weight would be former BOT, high level administration and significant benefactors. Congrats on her acceptance.

I'm glad I started at Clemson 48 years ago. I probably couldn't get in now ;)

I graduated HS in 1966 at the bottom of my class. SAT was 395/405 for a 800 Min for CU. Parents had zero $$ for college. Joined the Army in '68 and spent 3 1/2 yrs active duty and wanted GI Bill $$. From Vietnam in Aug '69 I was stationed at Clemson ROTC Dept as a SGT E-5, the 1st bachelor NCO and Co-Eds were off limits (I said BS to my self.) I knew what a TRE was (target rich enviornment).

Left Army and finished CU in 3 yrs graduating in '74 at the tender age of almost 27 YO.

Love CU..
