O'kay--as far as I can tell it was 1986 in Athens.

Despite close loses in Athens and Auburn in the relevantly recent past it has been 28 years since the Tigers have gone on the road to a SEC stadium, besides USuC, and gotten a win. It is time to break that streak too.

GO TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have played @ an SEC stadium four times since 1986.

One three point loss to eventual National Champions Auburn and three losses to Georgia in Athens.

That would have been my guess too. 31-28.

USuC?

Jan 16, 2014, 8:47 AM

The other than USuC term is not necessary. No one considers USuC a SEC school. Other than USuC themselves of course. I would make a comparison to Duke in the ACC, but there is of course Duke basketball. And Duke football even won a division title. Oh, and Duke owns USuC in football too lifetime. So Duke is much, much more valuable to any conference than USuC. The SEC would trade in a skinny minute and that is not debatable. So great trivia, but the other than USuC term is moot.
Go Tigers!
