Enough already about BV. He was hired to do a job, he did his job and was paid a #amn good salary while employed. He no longer is part of Clemson football, nor or the other ones that pulled up stakes and followed him.
Looking back, I, feel that the entire situation was not entirely above board. When Dabo and BV were out recruiting, taking commitments and visiting those already committed, I just don't think Dabo knew the depth of involvement BV had with Oklahoma. None of that added up, it just doesn't make sense nor did it fit Dabo's modus operandi We may never know the truth, because Dabo has taken the high road during the entire situation.
So going forward I am going to concentrate on all things Clemson knowing Dabo will too!

I have thought and believed that very same way ever since all the BV bullshiit started playing out in the public eye, and it started when David Hood busted the Oklahoma caravan ending up at BV's lake house. Then what the Oklahoma people were showing when BV and family got on and off the plane. Watching then, I knew we, and Clemson was about to get a screwing from the man that just a few months ago declared his love for Clemson, and he wasn't interested in going to coach anywhere else as a HC, and he was a loyal kind of guy. The next time Dabo hears those words, he needs to force the real facts of those words bc, a screw job is in the making. And I'm truly surprised that so many Clemson people have been so gullible of BV's words that mean the opposite, or nothing at all!!! He was hopeful that his empty words would leave an easy affect in case he fails, and maybe have to come back this way one day. Like I said when all this BV bullshiit was coming out, I said that I hope that he fails, and those feelings have grown stronger since that day, I hate him for all the negatives that has fell on top of Clemson since that horrible day!!! I love Clemson, and Clemson sports FIRST, and everything else is in the far back seat or on the outside!!! And I'm way more troubled and worried about than I ever been bc, we didn't have the same Clemson that we have now, before, and I seriously fear, and feel that what Dabo has built is on the verge of tumbling down around him and Tiger Nation!!!

That’s a little strong for me. There is really no easy way to leave when everyone would like you to stay. How can you blame him for going to a much better situation? If he was ever going to try his hand at being a head coach, OK was the perfect fit for him. It up to Dabo to right the ship. Hire whoever is needed to make Clemson successful and turn recruiting around.

BV pulled more than his share of the load every year in Tiger Town. His salary reflected his commitment and his multi-year successes.
The coaches on Offense made a small fraction of BV's salary which showed their relative worths.
It will be interesting to see if Dabo or BV outperforms in the decade ahead. My money is on Dabo and the Clemson Tigers based upon Dabo's proven record and the complete lack of talented competition and coaching in the ACC.

Dabo has said he and BV were in communication throughout the process. They were traveling together on a recruiting trip through a lot of it. Fab also claims BV as a close personal friend and wishes him the best. I’ll go with Dabo’s position over a couple of sour grape eating fans.

I think Brent is a first class guy.

I think he and Dabo knew long ago that Brent would go home when they called him. I think they worked together to train replacements.

I agree with you. I think this whole thing started in August when the OU AD came to visit Clemson. Athletic directors don't take trips to other schools to just pop in and look around. There was a reason he came. Yes, a Dabo knew probably a lot more than even he is letting on as well.
