For many years, Clemson continued a winning streak against

UVA in football. It was one of the longest winning streaks in NCAA history. One year Virginia finally won. Nobody remembers when that was without looking it up. Nobody remembers the score. Nobody hardly remembers the streak. Nobody particularly cares.

that loss sure didnt help. I remember traveling a long distance to Homecoming to watch a tie w UVa in DV. I was not happy to say the least

the score was 20-7 in '90. I also remember the next year we had to fight back to end the game in a 20-20 tie. I remember sitting at that '91 game and could have sworn that Nelson Welch missed the FG to tie it. The year after that we had to come back from 28 points down to win on a Welch FG.

Before that 1990 loss. They had some talented teams during about a 6 year stretch from 89-94 ' and that 28 point comeback game in I believe 93' was one of the greatest Clemson memories I have ...remember dancing around my friends apartment as the clock ticked down.
