This is what I absolutely hate about sports writers. Sometimes they get it and sometimes they sink low. Somehow he's managed to delegitimization Clemson and blame ND losing on BK. Was the columnist even watching the game or did he just look at highlights. You don't blame the coach for losing when you have 4 turnovers. You do to blame the coach for losing when he doesn't run the same play that didn't work the 1st 2 point conversion. These "writers" need to gain some perspective on Clemson. Yes ND did a better job executing in the 2 nd half but all their turnovers were in the 2nd half as well. 3/4 were forced fumbles by a stout defense and a KICKER. BK didn't lose this game for them, Clemson players showed up to play immediately and ND players didn't.

I highlights today don't show any of Clemson's TDs or big plays. It shows NDs and then the goal line stand where they come up just short. Sad spin again from a biased EsPN

I didn't know columnists were allowed to write drunk

I just learned that ND had a 67 yard final drive starting from the 32 yard line.

It's only fair to double the yardage since they had to play in the rain. I mean they did practice with wet footballs shouldn't that be worth something. [sarcasim]

I don't know, he made some great points

Oct 4, 2015, 9:54 AM

1 - This win really opens up a run at an ACC title. It would have been tough to come back from a loss last night to win the ACC.

2 - Henry Gallman is adequate

3 - Obviously a pass play from the 3yard line with the defense packed in would have worked.

4 - Losing to the #6 team would have been the epitome of C------ing

I think I may have to join the Dennis Dodd fan club. My Greg Doyel membersip is about to expire so I might switch. The guy is a friggin genius.

I made it through about two paragraphs before I...

lost all respect for the writer. I have no idea what field of media he should be working in but I can swear it shouldn't be football reporting and evaluations.

Anyone who thinks that five for five in passing against a prevent defense is a spectacular performance shouldn't be covering football.

Anyone that doesn't understand the first step to winning a game after establishing 21-3 lead is to protect the lead must have logic problems. As the clock ticks away the time remaining effects both team's play calling.

The team behind has to score many points, quickly. The team leading is challenged to prevent either of two things. One is 'points,' the other is the 'quickly.' If this sounds too simple then I'm successful in explaining it.

When someone doesn't know that one simple concept about football the are apt to make few comments that merit reading.
