Oct 19th the biggest game EVER played at Death Valley?

I know UGA '81 and '13 were big... But this game vs FSwho has ACC and National Title implications! Is this the biggest game ever played at Death Valley?(If both are undefeated and ranked Top 5, Top 10).

Will be the most important ever. Really we will only ever know in hindsight. But if we lose this game we will likely be a high pick for an at large BCS bowl because of the UGA win. That game was bigger.

Well, we need to win the next couple of weeks. This week is definitely going to be a tough one. But if we come out on top, and Florida State keeps winning too, then yea, it's the biggest game in Clemson history with the exception of 1/1/82.

And if Clemson stays undefeated until the The Citadel game in November....That game will be the biggest HOME game ever since 1981.

Are two evenly matched teams with legitimate shots at the ACC/National Title. Doesn't get any bigger than that. Also looks like we might both be Top 5 in the BCS!

....No the biggest game ever played in hindsight at the valley was UGA with Herschel Walker....none of us actually believed we could beat the defending National Champs back then...UGA was great....but we did and we beat the crap out of them. That made us start believing. If we had lost to the Dawgs and won out, we would have most likely gone to the Gator...also if I cant ask a favor of Dabo and the guys...beat that bunch of doofuses Saturday and beat them bad...they suck and are getting to be an irritation up here.

If this is round the clock coverage like they say then I think a win cements us as a #2 much like Alabama gets the benefit of the doubt at #1

If we win next two, at least in top 5 or 6. Another recruiting goldmind. Two Gamedays in 7 weeks, crowd deafening, team stoked. Win, and second hurdle of season accomplished.
My fear is Maryland. Maybe also undeafed or one loss. Last game against us. Worried.

If we did not win our opener this would only have ACC relevance

they will beat us. They have no confidence whatsoever that they will beat us in the Valley. This year is about the most respect that they've seemed to show us in quite a while. FSU is going to be a great game, the type of game that makes a basket case out of the fans. I see it going along the lines of the UGA game.

But losing in our stadium for over a decade changes things a little.

the win over them would have to be HUGE. They most certainly would creep up the polls and hope that we slip up. FSU is HUGE to keep it going for us. I would like the ACC crown but would LOVE a lot more!
