Iptay tix are $175 but they are cheaper through other outlets... What's the general thoughts on which direction the price is going to move in the next couple weeks?

On the Orange Bowl site, it shows IPTAY tix are on the Sooner's side of the field. 50 yard line to east endzone. Is this true?

the number of Tiger fans going, as well as the cost. I paid less than $60 on Stub Hub for lower bowl tickets in 2011. Granted, that wasn't a playoff game at the time.

My concern would be everyone getting tickets for Christmas, or using money received for Christmas to fund the trip. Other than that I think you'd be right about going down...

I'm holding out, with the steady decline the past few days I wouldn't be surprised to see lowers right around $200 by the end of next week.

Too early from last Sunday's show for prices to come down yet. They are way too high right now but after many fans look at the cost of traveling, parking and ticket prices, reality will enable a capitalistic decline in purchases that will result in a decrease in ticket asking prices. If I am totally wrong, I will be watching from my den and enjoy many festive beverages at a much lower cost.

This is a national semi-final game which will be better attended by ppl outside of the schools than say a regular BCS Orange Bowl CLEM has played in the last two times when you saw empties. There isn't going to be any empties for this game. Prices may drop a bit for a while---but I think they could easily go back up the week of the game. Again, there isn't going to be any empties for a national semi-final game....see last years games as examples. In fact, the Orange Bowl is looking to add seats. Remember, you are seeing tickets sell for less than face on SH b/c those tickets are held mainly by employees of corporations who sponsor the game. Most of those employees have little or no $$$ invested in those tickets----so they aren't taking a loss when they sell below face. Once those tickets get absorbed by the market--and they will for a semifinal....prices are going to go up IMO. Again, this isn't going to be like the 2011 or 2014 BCS Orange Bowls...JMO.
