I bet they figured it out ! So, given that we DO have the talent else we wouldn't have gotten those large leads, it was all learning how to finish and not choke like you were gorging chicken wings ...

I predict we "win out" (mostly) the rest of the games in the season. We were too good to be choking like that.

Had we only been up 9 points, we would have lost in regulation. So this special “blow a big lead then pull out a win in OT” magic can only be used in certain circumstances.

It's either coaching or the kids just aren't following the gameplan. That doesn't go for just the last 5 minutes. Especially Saturday there were stretches in the first half where we were up and became uncontrolled. Every game this year, we have stretches where it appears we lose focus. Bizzare.

Hmmm. I think you're up to something.

There is a lot to like about our cast of characters. We are fairly solid with talent and drive. I really dig our newbs also. And we've got more shooters to choose from this season to help keep our options open. Two big games ahead this week to get a firm footing heading into conference play.

Go Tigers. Beat the RedHawks.
