Not sure how MOST people are COMPLETELY MISSING

the fact that Dabo has a huge play calling sheet in his hand every game now. Elliot and Streeter have humbly mentioned in the past that all plays go through Dabo. And it doesn't seem as if it is a few times a game, critical moment type of thing. It is a co-coordinator/he makes the final decision sort of thing. As much as I don't like the hires from within let's place the blame on the appropriate person. Not DJ, not Streeter, but Dabo!

Love the guy and think he will make corrections but this has been an extreme blunder on his part. If he doesn't make a change in pjilosophy right now we may lose a few more games this year which would be pathetic considering the talent we have. There is still a lot out there to accomplish and it is not completely out of possibility that we have a 2016 situation. Unlikely but still possible. Let's wake up coach!

I'm not saying your wrong, I don't know and I didn't see the quotes you mentioned from Elliot or Streeter. If you are correct, is it because Dabo wants control, or is it because he doesn't have full trust in his coordinators? I remember seeing a Dabo interview about Tony Elliot where he stated he called every play in 2018 when we won the Natty.

Maybe it's not Streeter, maybe the issue is Dabo is protecting DJ, not allowing Streeter to call plays that he doesn't trust DJ to make?

I don't know, just spitballing a bit here. It's obvious that Clemson's offense has severely regressed since Trevor left and DJ took over. Occam's Razor says the 1 constant is the same QB with 2 different OCs, the QB is the issue.

Good post, but to me the issue is squarely on the Dabo. You can’t keep running a guy out there who doesn’t perform. It becomes a cancer that consumes the entire team
