saying I like or don't like this or that politicians ideas or actions. I don't think, however. one can find in my previous posts any negative comment about any particular politician. I think I have said that in a binary choice, talking about Trump's morality didn't do the opposing choice any favors. But that's it. So, you will understand what I am communicating here:
I have uncharitable thoughts about the particular person you are referring to.

agreed. The torque they can potentially produce is mind-blowing, but you sacrifice battery life. They will only get better, eventually, most poeple will want them.
53k for the mustang with 250 mile range, that is impressive

Stupid question, I guess: With GM saying that it will be making a majority of electric vehicles, when you plug them into an electric outlet to re-charge the batteries, where does that "juice" come from? Windmills? Solar? Algae? Hmmm ... how about coal or natural gas! Ooops! We won't be using that anymore! I suppose you'll just have to stay home!

I think all Federal elected officials should have to put their holding in a blind trust for the duration of their terms. And that those holding should be reviewed annually to make sure that there is no insider trading going on.
BTW, Pelosi is FAR from the only member of Congress doing such things.

Outstanding idea. Would be great. The problem is that politicians would have to legislate that against their personal interests. They would have to decide in our , the people’s best interest. I don’t have much faith that they will ever put us first.

It still doesn't make it easier to stomach.
I hate the self-dealing, and it's the definition of "swampy". And the smug old vampiress just up and did the very definition of an insider trade with insider information knowing nobody could ever make it stick to her because strictly speaking it probably wasn't even technically illegal...though it sure as @#%% ought to have been.
Grr. This is the sort of thing ranked choice voting would really solve, because in a less binary world we could vote self-dealers like this right off the island without worrying about giving it to a lunatic like a Marjorie Taylor Green.
