Anyone concerned about distractions with Syracuse?

Sep 27, 2018, 1:03 AM

I know we are a 24 point favorite and playing in the valley. However, I am bit concerned with the drama and the fact I don't know how the team perceived KB no longer on the team.

I know Syracuse has played next to no one and FSU might as well have been a FCS team at least in week 2 or 3. However, Dungy has given us problems with his legs and his arm.

Anyone else concerned about distractions are do you think we roll over them?

I originally expected this to be a 45-13 type of game before all the drama. I just don't know what to make of it now. I also expected for KB to be able to come in if TL was in a rut.

I believe we still win but wouldn't be surprised if it was something like 30-17 now.

We all know TL is the most talented Freshman QB in the nation. However, this is still his first start and first time to be expected to play a full game.

If Trevor can play like he did against GT the whole game then we roll but am concerned about Syracuse who has forced a lot of INTs to show a lot of different formations on defense and do lots of blitzing.

I was nervous about going to A&M for a night game and expected it to be close with Jimbo there. I knew we would roll in the other games. I just can't decide what to make of all the distractions related to this game so it makes me nervous!

Someone tell me roll 51-0!

Deanster, remember Watson's first start? 6tds and 435 yrds....Think you'll see something like this for TL. 51-0! Paw power baby!

well, the pressure certainly will be on Lawrence. I mean if he bombs, that would not be good.

Maybe the game is what we need to get focused. I wish it was played Today!

We are all distracted by the KB situation. But I honestly don't think the team will be. As soon as practice starts, those guys are way too busy to be mulling over Kelly Bryant's decision. And it sounds like everyone like TL a lot, so their will be a lot of support for him. I think we will be focused. My main concern about SU is their screens. I hope we are ready for them.

I agree I dont think there will be much of a distraction. Our coaches are too good to let this affect our players. Plus with all the leadership on this team on defense they will not allow it either. They came back to win a championship and nothing nor anyone will stand in their way. GO TIGERS ALL IN BOYS!!!!!!!

Not concerned in the slightest. All the fans wanted Trevor in the starting lineup, now we have him. Now we all get to see the true potential of this offense. Strap up boys and girls, it's going to be a fun ride for the next 12-13 weeks!

Not at all! I’m just glad we don’t play them THIS week.

Not really. For some reason, more than any game this season,

Sep 27, 2018, 6:23 AM

I just have a feeling we roll in this one. I think the D will be looking for a little revenge from last year and I think the offense is going to rally around Trevor. You know the receivers have to be excited and the rb's not to face a stacked box

I agree... I think some frustration will come out on the turf. really glad it's a home game because our W will get the orange blood pumping! The team gotta feel upset and let down by a brother they love...so they will come out hard! Its a new chapter and we must focus on Coach and BOYG! GO TIGERS!

Two ways to look at this. We know TL is talented and should do well, but it is possible all the turmoil puts a lot of negative pressure on him. But he will also realize even if he has a bad series, he still is the QB and will be going back in the game. Those kinds of emotional swings will even out as he recoups from bad plays with great passes.

I really don't think you guys should be concerned with it, truthfully. You've got a whole team of cats that come to Clemson to win Natty's and play on Sunday...

It's hard for me to believe, that this situation takes them off their course. I mean really, you guys are a premier program with a dude at the top who coaches the right way. Your boys will be locked in and ready to roll Saturday.

As a Cuse fan, it's fun to be in these conversations/games again. But I think you'll find that the majority of our fan base is pretty realistic about where we're at.

Let's roll the #### ball out and see what happens!

nope..

Sep 27, 2018, 7:50 AM

there are guys who get paid millions to deal with that.

my only concern for Saturday is the weather.
