I’ve had many sec fans tell me that was the best introduction in all of college football and they wished their teams had something special like it.
If it has that affect on opposing die hard fans, I can only imagine the weight that it pulled with recruits both in attendance and watching at home.

Well, i have a 1963 home movie, no sound though, of the team and coaches coming in down the hill an hour before game time. I imagine the hill entrance goes back to the first game in DV. It has been spiced up though.

I was at the last game day when Louisville came to town and it was pretty incredible. I was not at this game but my buddy was who I went with to the Louisville game and he said it was just as loud. I will say, though that it was not as exciting on this game due to the saving tackle at the end that put Louisville away. That wasn’t a breaking incredible moment.
