No Penalty - No Safety

People keep talking about the fumble. Why not talk about that "Let's draw GT offsides" lunacy that put the ball closer to the goal line? Why not point out that without the loss of yardage, and even with the fumble, the ball would have been recovered in the field of play - No Safety?
With only 15 seconds on the clock and let "get cute" and try to draw them offsides...WHAT? Talk about a lack of confidence in an offense to gain a yard by the coaching staff. They are not saying it but they are showing it in their play calling - they do not have any confidence in this offense.
BTW, Anyone really think DJ will learn how to throw the ball this week...? Nat bashing the young man, just an honest question. And, what doe sit say about coaching that they don't try a backup QB for a series or two? They swap out RB's and receivers....???
Oh, wait, its all the O-line fault. Got it.

That tells me that TP still can't play...

That may also explain why DJ hasn't been running the ball more.

TP isn't the only back up we have.

GT's DE and all other 10 players were expecting us to run up the middle and had stacked the Box. But if you go back and watch, if DJ pulls that ball and runs, he would have had a 99 1/2 yard touchdown if he did not run out of breath or at least run out the clock.

I agree with this entirely…like wth are we doing and thinking??? This isn’t rocket science and is not a complicated situation…take a snap from Under center and fall on the ground and the game is over… period … and if you can’t take a snap from under center and fall on the ground in a special situation with million dollar coaches, 4/5 star players, a spring practice, players practicing on their own all summer Amd a fall camp then that’s just ridiculous…
This is a special situation and should be treated as one… it’s no different than doing a tight punt from the one as opposed to a regular spread punt…special situations require special/different alignments…it’s that simple!!!

I understand the point of under center but when a team is 100% from the shot gun and 99.9 percent of the Center snaps are practiced and play that way, plus the game had been stretched to around 5 1/2 hours. Asking a center that really did not come into Clemson as a center to hike the ball upwards into hands that have not been on your A$$ all night, Ill take my chances with the shotgun! Again, if you are going to try something unusual then have DJ pull it if the DE had already committed down, which he did.

Pulling the ball in the end zone is not an option. If you are going to run a play you are not going to take the chance on some sort of option as to hand off or pull it in your own end zone. I guarantee you that was not and should never be considered.

Can you imagine playing Alabama in the Natty Amd all we have to do is take one snap from our own two yard line and fall down and we win the Natty again…and go through that same sh*t show sequence we saw Saturday and they fall on the fumble in the end zone and go on to win or they run the kickoff back fir a TD and win… let that possible reality sink in for a second…all because we can’t take a snap from under center on the two And fall down???

At this point, I can't imagine being in the CFP, let alone playing for the natty.

Wonder why coaches have no confidence ? Offense is really bad. I notice they never try and stretch the field . Jet sweeps or fake sweeps were one a staple but not now

Taylor had one sweep for about 7 yards. But I agree at some point you have to take the top off the defense. We have the big receivers to go up and get the ball.

Our pathetic O-Line can't give DJ time to throw a long pass.

Not taking the easy 3pts in the fist half was even worse.
