The Swofford - UNC machine came up with this stupid media deal, added an extra year probation to Clemson, makes the ACC tourney a home team affair, then turns around and slaps themselves on the wrist when they get caught passing out free degrees !

I say screw them ! They can have all of the ACC they love so much !

That is just dumb. Other than us beating them only once in basketball in Chapel Hill, UNC has no power over us. Nothing happens in a conference that is approved by the members.

The vote for Clemson to have an extra year of Probation came at the heels of then UNC AD John Swafford and as a result of a 5-2 vote. I believe NC State and Wake Forrest were the 2 no-votes. How was there a 5-2 vote with 8 team era of the ACC? This was the reason for the no-votes. They did not want to vote with Clemson not being there to defend themselves. The greatest hypocrisy of it all was the fake classes were already underway with UNC under Swaffords watch.

I totally agree that Swofford and his poor negotiating skills and short sightedness leaves the ACC with a very long term (2034!!) TV contract with no means to adjust or enhance the payout to the members due to CFP performance or anything else. Very good deal for ESPN, not very good for ACC which is left with less than half the member payout as the SEC or the Big10. I give Swofford an F for his entire commissioner watch.
And yes, this is the same guy who while at UNCheat, lobbied for and got an extra year of probation for Clemson back in the day.
