Once you realize there are very powerful forces at work fanning the flames on both sides against each other it kinda clarifies it. The goal is to destroy the country. Most people have no intentions of hurting others. Gotta find common goals. Agree it has to stop.

A lot of it is "Russia Russia Russia", too. The Foxworlders on this board sneer, reflexively, but lordy. During the Cold War, Putin was a freaking KGB agent working in Germany, interfacing with the Red Army Brigades and Red Army Faction, the early-day predecessors that actually spun off (cough!) Antifa here in the USA - his whole bag was destabilizing the West by pushing at the soft pressure points of Western culture. When the Wall fell, he spent the day busily covering his tracks by hanging outside the KGB's offices in Stuttgart, burning files. The KGB got a whole lot of chaos sown, in Europe. The Red Brigades absolutely tore up Europe in the late '70's...bombings, kidnappings, murders, executions. They even kidnapped ex-Italian Prime Minister Aldo Moro and left him dead in the trunk of a car to prevent him from negotiating a peace settlement. Putin hasn't changed a bit since then.
At that point Putin was doing it from the left. Now he's doing it from both sides, playing both sides against the other. And if anything he's learned he can sow even more chaos by appealing to the far right.
The dude makes trouble happen, and dirty tricks and lies and cloak-and-dagger and turning people against one another are his M.O., always have been.
Apparently we're seeing Chinese and Iranian actors get into the misinformation game now too. It's past time we start hardening ourselves against bullsh!t, because it's also long-past the time it's started to be weaponized, just as it's definitely past the point it's become toxic and being used to artificially divide us...and very much from the outside.

But where's it being fed from...and how much of this rage is actually our own? I'm honestly not quite sure. I have seen first-hand what happens when a really good troll gets into Tigernet - deadsolidperfect absolutely used to wreak havoc the main board, it was a sight to behold - you're saying it doesn't work on America? Of course it does.

It's the race industry feeding the left to make money. It's not the Russians. The race industry has been around for decades, but since Apple destroyed world by inventing the iPhone, it's much easier for them to make money.

the country they live in. I think different groups of people have different visions about how to improve our country, right or wrong, and many are misguided in how they go about trying to achieve those goals.

The idea is to do like Camden NJ. They fired the entire police force all the way up to the captains and rehired them from scratch. But you were not guaranteed your job back, the bad apples were booted. The results speak for themselves.
and the police unions are a big part of the problem. If if a captain wanted to fire a guy that has wandered off the reservation, it is hard. At best he can make him someone else's problem.
