Clemson's Sunday noon starter

Clemson says that RHP Ty Olenchuk (1-0, 3.92 ERA) will go to start the noon elimination game versus Charlotte. He will go against RHP Cameron Hansen (3-1, 4.54 ERA), who will make his 12th start this season.
Clemson looks like they're trying to piece together the pitching and have Ethan Darden for a potential regional final matchup. Olenchuk last pitched in Virginia Tech game in Durham. He made a pinch-hit appearance last night and flied out to RF.
The game is set to be on ESPN.

Hopefully he will give us a few scoreless innings. Ty hasn't exactly killed it so far in most of his outings.

Our batters need to adjust to Ump’s strike zone.

Sitting directly behind home plate, it was clear that the home plate umpire was giving the UT pitcher strikes on the outside edge against our left hand batters. He was surprisingly consistent for the entire game if the pitch wasn’t high or low. It put our LH batters in a hole all night. Now I didn’t necessarily agree but after a couple of times through the lineup, our batters needed to adjust. We never did and it cost us.

If we get thru Charlotte. Might try to see if they can save Darden for a winner take all, but I don't see how we can do that.
Plus, Allen got smacked around in his last start against VT in ACCT (5 hits, 2 ER in 1.1 pitched). Kinda in a tough spot w/ the staff. Might be piece together something for Charlotte, Darden to get us to Monday, then hope for best. Idk if Gordon would be an option on 3 days rest for a Monday game, don't think we'll see Clayton any today after 2 back to back appearances.
Need to find way to get bats hot b/c trying to win 3 do-or-dies with pitcher by committee is not an ideal situation.

As early as Gordon left Friday, I believe he has 2 or 3 innings left in him for Monday or maybe even tonight.
