I'd agree/ He isnt Hendrix- no one is but it was fine. He stuck to the melody pretty well and it was interesting. No one kneeled. A few may have keeled over but it was fine. I'm closer to 70 than 60 and I was fine with it. At then end I was hoping for him to go to Purple Haze

Hendrix, in my opinion, was one of the greatest guitarist ever. Not just because of the anthem.

We got to run the power puff game in HS in 1972, we played the Hendrix version. You should have seen the parents glaring at us in the press box.
