It's was tough to continue reading just after their first point. Not even thinking that Auburn loses in Death Valley.. Clemson D-Line and LB core is coming after Stidham, no matter if they think he'll be a " wonder " or not. Clelin & Big Dex get's him 3 times ( a piece ) minimum. Not even including what O'Daniel, Jospeh, Lamar, and the rest of this stud LB crew does to thier offense. I suspect they'll plow right through their OL. Hard to complete passes with those big men putting you on the ground.

Right about that. Entire conference has been sub-par for years. Teams like Kentucky and Vanderbilt on the rise against some of the power 5 that have owned the conference. Florida winning the East with basically no offense. Only team in the west has been Bama. It's been under the delusion that they are an elite conference when actually they haven't been for some time with the exception of Bama. They say that this year is going to be different/upswing year, that's fine and all, and really don't care. However, they won't mention that the National College Football Championship defenders are coming from Clemson and surely not the ACC to disrupt the plans of any of those ( so-called ) SEC powerhouses.

I'm not a conferentialist , but if FSU downs Bama in the opener wouldn't that logically mean the ACC is now a superior conference? It would give the Tide comsecutive losses to the ACC ....and if Bama can't compete then who from the grandad conference can ?

'bama loses two in a row to the ACC. They may all need bereavement time.
The entirety of the SEC fan base may recreate the West Virginia tradition of burning sofas, end up destroying the trailer park and leave many of the homers homeless.
Sounds like a great way to start the year!

ridiculously far-fetched.
Two coaches fired - This is probably at least 50/50 to happen. Butch Jones is in big trouble, Hugh Freeze has to be one more NCAA violation leak away from being canned, and Kevin Sumlin is quickly running out of time at A&M. Guz Malzahn is probably a 7-5 season away from getting pushed out the door as well.

Well fellows, it looks like we need to fold our tents and wait until next year or, perhaps, some time into the distant future. Apparently, we just can't compete with the SEC. Defeating three SEC tams last year must of been something we Tigers concocted when we were in a coma. Oh, the perfidy of it all !!!!!

First of all spud, it's titles "BOLD predictions" meaning not necessarily what it expected to happen. Secondly, it was written by a guy named Cox....as in gamecox......never trust cox.

Way down? They got knocked out of the playoff by the B1G in 2014 and the ACC in 2016. They're tied for playoff titles with the other two good conferences. I'd say if muscoot wins the COY, they've officially hit ROCK BOTTOM.
