I don't think so.

There was enough specificity and genuine frustration in those posts that I actually think he was for real. He was also parroting some stuff a QAnon couple I knew from work were saying. They were actually really likeable folks but they were also gun enthusiasts, survivalists, former Michigan militia members...and Oh My did they go off the deep end during the elections and early January. They went full on Q, really freaked a lot of people at work out, and the husband ended up storming out in a rage when HR told him to knock it off. The wife left a couple days later.

Again, it was just some specific details of what NJDEV said that mirrored what I'd heard from some of the hardest-core QAnon folks I know. So I really don't think he was actually joking.

He was just a real Q guy and was excited about what he thought was going to happen. He has been a member since 2004. I think he worked at some hotel in Hilton Head.

I dont necessarily think he was joking, I just believe it was a bored liberal making fun of conservatives.

I've been wrong a time or two though

I initially thought NJDEV was punking all of us, but as time went on I actually came to the opinion, right or wrong, that he obviously believed the QAnon nonsense. If he was just goofing around, I would think he would be picking another topic. It is truly scary that anyone bought into QAnon.
