"NFL unity"

Sep 24, 2017, 8:40 PM

Heard enough about how the Sheild has been galvanized. Enough already. Time for you to articulate your protest and then do something positive. Talk means nothing anymore, when you are unwilling to engage in dialogue. It's no wonder why many of us love Saturdays and don't bother with appointment TV Sunday.

As a veteran I recognize that civilians consider other things more important than those of us who wore the uniform. Nonetheless I shall always defend my Country and its Constitution.

Thank God I am a Clemson Alum.

As a grad with 2 Clemson degrees and Clemson season tickets and NFL season ticket holder. Have been a NFL season ticket holder
before Clemson even allowed Blacks onto our Campus and football team. Consider the following:

1. We sing God Bless America prior to the game.
2. We give the Pledge prior to the game.
3. We honor the Military every game
4. We were forced by the National Government to allows blacks on our campus
5. We booed President Obama on our Video board on Military Appreciation day and had to be shamed by President Barker
6. We honor Tillman on out Campus

It might be time to take the view of America from many other points of view.

As a "proud Vietnam Veteran" I do not like to see anyone not stand for our "flag." But, as a Veteran I will also accept it is their right to not stand for our "flag." But, I will not watch any NFL games nor will I purchase another ticket. I gave up my season tickets to the "Panthers" this year to voice my displeasure with these action as that is my right. Go tigers!

And what did you do to voice your displeasure with police brutality, racism and the white supremacist in the White House?

Or do you agree with Trump when he says taking a knee makes you a "son of a b*tch" but neo-Nazis are "good people"?

He never said the neo-Nazis were good people. The liberal media took his comments WAY out of context.

Thanks for your service I am also a vet. My thing the whole time has been that if someone feels as passionate about something as they would like to lead people to believe they would do something about it. Anyone can complain. My two year can complain. If you believe the police are corrupt, and some are, then there is only one way to change it. My suggestion is that if they do not have a criminal record they need to become a police officer. I'm all for justice reform where it needs to be reformed. The justice system is made up of individuals. If the system is corrupt then those individuals need to be replaced by others. Some of the cases that have received protest needed it and some did not. The problem is people on both sides take a side, stick to it no matter what and jump to conclusions before they get all the facts. Me personally I'm on the side of justice and that may fall to the police in one instance or to the civilian in another. Again too many people jump to conclusions without all the facts or knowledge of police protocall that is meant to save lives.
