nfl question. just curious

Dec 8, 2013, 9:53 PM

with carolina being the "home team" for many of you back there, how do you feel about cam newton? I know I would have a hard time being a fan

inconsistent.he will have one game where he will show flashes of greatness then he will have a game that makes you shake your head.he is still learning could be a hall of famer one day if he continues to progress.

Panther fan, Yes

Newton fan, No. But when the team is winning you can generally overlook stuff.

Having said all the negative stuff about Newton personally, I have to give him credit for one thing. He always gives the football to a kid in the stands after a Panther score. That is a classy thing to do.

Is that after he does his 'klassy' superman thing? ;)***

Yeah, I have to turn my head on those.

Put me in the "Act like you have been there before" category.

He's arrogant Immature.

That said he's a great player and has made huge strides in his maturity and development as a QB but god I wish he wasn't so cocky and a showboat.

Count me a big fan

He has enthusiasm for the game that is rarer and rarer at the pro level. Plus he is an incredible physicall talent.

Not my "home team", even though they are the closest NFL

Dec 8, 2013, 10:22 PM

city to me, and I do not like Cam Newton. The Panthers did not exist until I was 35 years old, and I grew up with the Falcons as my home team. I had relatives in Atlanta, and saw quite a few Falcons games in person while growing up, and have pent a lot of time in Atlanta throughout my life. On the other hand, I think I have been to Charlotte maybe 3 times in my entire life, and never for more than an overnight stay. I have absolutely no reason to go there, and feel no connection with it whatsoever. So, if I have a home team, it's the Falcons. More of a college football fan anyway.
