Mickey seems to have interns, John Hight is now on the press box with Brad, and Ben Milstead is on OOB with Qualk.
I believe Ben used to be on 12-3 with Philpot but I could be wrong. I just started listening as Philpot was retiring and OOB was getting started.

Back in the day Mickey and Philpot co-hosted and after that Qualk joined Mickey in the mornings. That was back in the Dan Scott, James Thurn era.

Feel bad for Qualk. But I guess he's got to bide his time until Don Munson retires, and Ben will help Qualk make that final move.

and predictable. Not sure Ben will work well with Qualk. They have different styles that don't really mesh.
Also I personally don't find Hight a good listen. Uses a lot of sarcasm that often falls flat and is too much of a football-only guy for me (I know a lot like that)

I agree there. I thought Zach Orr worked a lot better with Mickey and added value to the show. I did not think John did quite as well with that. I think he needs to be a little more dynamic, and has not found his niche yet.

Yep. She posted something about "thanks for the memories" to WCCP on Twitter on the 14th and now has her ESPN credentials listed under her profile. Her and Qualk were great, very good duo. That will be hard to replicate.

Gonna miss Kelly a lot! She worked well wit6h almost anyone-in my opinion the station has taken a big hit losing her.

IMO the station lost a bunch when Kelly left. Weird saying that but I liked her and she was very well prepared. Cant say that for most of the others.
Plyler Show.....it is what it is. No creativity and same old stuff. Win/Loss game, that Biggie Smalls segment, the inspirational sports psychologist guy, etc. Just very little creativity in the show.
Mid Morning.....will be Brad and John Hiott. Few times I listed to Brad and Ben have been boring. Cant imagine John will bring much to the show.
Qualk and Ben- not a fan of Ben at all. Qualk loves Clemson more than anyone and that gets in the way of many of his takes. Spends too much time on baseball analytics, etc.
Deptula- i listen sometimes just to hear him contradict himself and make excuses abut everything. I just find it funny that he "slaughters Vegas" with his picks and the he is a self proclaimed NFL draft expert/talent analyzer yet is is stuck working at a small town radio station.
Just feel like WCCP has gotten stale......

Putting Deptula and Plyler on the same show would be entertaining, it would be a sure bet that Clemson police department will be called to the studio at least twice a month.

and the recent interns have left a lot to be desired. They will need something to shake it up soon. Ben and Qualk together don't have long term appeal

Used to listen to Plyler until this past season when he really started to get on the fans about being upset with the football teams play. Basically telling all the fans that they had no right to complain because they were no coaches and really did not know enough about the situation to justify their complaints. Really pissed me off.
Listened to Deptula for awhile but his arrogance and annoying voice as well as his stupid ### introduction song really grated on me.
I love listening to Kelly and Qualk's opening with al the national championship calls but found them to be to goofy at times and let's face it. Qualk really likes to hear himself talk.
Don't listen to the other guys.

is probably the best host I’ve heard on that station outside of maybe Philpott. Especially given her age and experience. She’s very smart, very articulate, humorous and well prepared. But let’s face it. WCCP is the minor leagues. Whenever someone’s good they’re going get promoted to another job and we are left with the minor leaguers.
