1)LSU - Pretty easy 2) Alabama - Rolling on 3) Ohio St - Have not played anyone but solid 4) Clemson - Lurking and looking good 5) Florida - Better than I thought (and hoped) 6) Auburn - With that schedule maybe higher 7) Penn St - Weak schedule but look ok 8) Utah - Not totally sold on them but look ok 9) Georgia - Losses to Florida and Auburn likely 10) Oklahoma - Product of weak schedule but still good
What a November it will be! Love College football!

Without help from the officials the Gators lose to the Coots. If Gators are truly the 5th best team in the country, the gap between the top 4 and the ROYs is hyooge and bigly.

I think the gap is huge even though I wouldn't put Florida at 5th.
My top 10
1 Clemson 2 Alabama 3 LSU small gap 4 Ohio State gigantically huge gap 5 Georgia 6 Oklahoma 7 Penn State gap 8 Auburn 9 Oregon 10 Florida
I really do not see Georgia as being the 5th best team week in and week out but I think their A game beats the ones behind them A game or not. Kind of the same thing with Auburn. What I have seen of Bo Nix makes Jake Bentley look good. Surely his high end is pretty high because his low end stinks.

You still have Georgia in top 10? You do realize they lost to UofSC who lost to Tennessee by 20 don't you?

tOSU looks like a solid one dimensional team to me. Great running team but no real threat of throwing the ball. At the beginning of the year I didn’t think CU could win it this year but after watching everyone else play I think they possibly could. Crazy to think but I don’t see anyone CU couldn’t beat and possibly not be favored against.

Forgot to add. I dont mind your rankings, but I think Clemson and Ohio State are better than LSU and Bama. Your top 4 are right though as far as who they are. The order doesnt matter.

Imo LSU deserves to be #1. If we beat 3 top 10 teams so far this season and werent ranked #1 we would b!tch like heck. #1- LSU #2- OSU #3- Clemson #4- Bama #5- Penn state

5 sec teams in the top 10. Not surprised but nope.

Auburn has two losses. Florida isn’t as good as you think they are. Fine with LSU and Alabama for now but obvious one loses.

Auburn has 2 losses, but they are definitely a top 8 team imo. For all I know they are the 5th best, but of course they wouldnt deserve that ranking though.

Penn St. beat Michigan. Michigan beat Jawja’s best win by a trillion points. They are pretty darn good... AND HAVE NO LOSSES.

I honestly think that when it is all said and done Clemson will be national champions again and I’m going to tell you why. Everyone wants to focus on Clemson’s performance in the UNC game just like they wanted to hang on to the fact that Clemson had close games early in the season against Cuse and TAMU. Meanwhile Bama and a couple of others were looking great while Clemson just looked OK but not a national championship caliber team. However as the season wore on Clemson got better..... a lot better. Why? Because the coaches stuck to the process of rotating and developing players. They opened the offensive playbook slowly as well.
Fast forward to this season it’s exactly the same. The numbers are nearly identical. Everyone finds one thing to criticize (ints) and runs with it. The defense is quietly having a monster year.
So here’s the problem with the three teams you rank ahead of Clemson. LSU and Bama both have suspect defenses no way around it. What will their high flying offenses do against an elite defense? We may have gotten a glimpse last night. Stop fooling yourself about Auburn. They’re not a great team.
OSU? Justin Fields is a run first QB. You know that. OSU looks exactly the same as they do EVERY year. Great team but I’m not sold on them being able to do much against Clemson. They will not face an elite offense in the BIG either so there’s your inflated defensive numbers for them and that is also the same EVERY year.
All that to say, and I know lots of folks are not going to like this, but I think Clemson wins it all again this year. They have the most complete team and they are getting better at the right time while other teams are getting exposed.
