Dabo is right, this is a very young team! Next year should be a lot better. Alabama had guys that played this game before, this was nothing new to Alabama team, those guys are Juniors and Seniors, Clemson has freshmen that were playing and yes, Clemson was up for the challenge. But this team will grow and learn from their mistakes. Clemson is 12-2 and some teams never reached that mark. Clemson was well prepared but they should have practice in the Superdome to get the feel of the atmosphere. KB will be back along with Trevor Lawrence, now this should be interesting. These guys needs to keep their heads up, focus on next season and be the new Alabama!!!!!! When a team travels to a game that is very important, have fun after the job is done! Take that time to reflect on what they are there for and drive forward! This team has gone way ahead of some teams, so no team can say that they are number one and they played bad, because CLEMSON is still number one and one major loss does not define Clemson! South Carolina may love the fact that Clemson lost, BUT, they have something that they will never receive right now is a Championship and title victory, so Gamecocks, Clemson will be back and ready as ever to take on whomever or whatever may come their way! Clemson, is still the better team in ACC HISTORY!!!!!!!! Boys, take charge and be Clemson! ONLY THE STRONG SURVIVES!!!!! I still am a big fan of Clemson and this is not their first rodeo!!!!!! THEY WILL BE BACK!!!!!!!!!! GO TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good logic and very well written. Clemson is definitely at the highest level in college football and I would be surprised if you were not back here next year

The talent level and schedule would dictate that, but the OL and play calling need work. Lots of it.

Exactly, we have to change the offense completely or we will never get to where we should be. That includes coaching and play calling and better plans and preperation. Doing the same old stuff and expecting different outcomes will not make it happen.

The OL and play calling did fine for 12 games out of 14, just because we struggled mightily against another one of the top 5 defensive fronts in college football doesn't mean it's a recurring problem.

It's really hard for that kind of hurt not to turn into anger, and then when the anger and hurt starts mixing around in your head it's doubly hard to keep the angry words from slipping out. I do know that after I've had time to take it all in, it's easy to see how all this has turned out the way that it did. In all honesty, we should have never been the championship playoffs anyway competing with teams loaded with senior leadership and experience with us only 6 seniors with only 4 as starters. This only proves how talented we are with such young talent, but we didn't have the senior experience/leadership to help us out where we lacked in experience. If all our juniors don't run off to the NFL, hopefully we will have enough seniors to help the younger guys out next season bc senior experience and senior leadership can not be replaced by raw talent alone. That is why I hate seeing our juniors running off before they have had their time in at leading our next years juniors. For what ever I've said out of anger, I absolutely apologize here and now!!!

Never apologize when speaking from the heart! I do agree, the juniors need to stay and help the younger ones stay focus. I do hate when juniors just want to up and run to the NFL just to get hurt before the season starts. They do not realize that their senior year will help them mature just a little bit more. That is why they have a senior year, finish your four years and then go to the NFL. I just wish the schools would make them finish their four years and then do whatever they feel.

I'm very excited about Clemson football. They come out swinging every year, and they've knocked a lot out of the park. Confidently expect more of the same in the coming years. Maybe the score board read Alabama 24, Clemson 6 last night. But another score to keep a watch on is Saban 66, Swinney 48.

I cannot be more proud of our Tigers!
Sure last night sucked but the last 3 years have been incredible. And there’s no reason the next 3 and more won’t be just as great. Personally I can’t wait for the next 242 days to pass to start again; in the meantime we have a top 25 b-ball team and a top 15 baseball team to focus on.
Clemson’s brand is among the best in the country and there’s no dirt underneath. I couldn’t be prouder to be an alumnus and a huge fan.
