Agreed. I remember games between Bryant and Howard (a Bama teammate) and it was always that way. Unlike the 1981 Orange Bowl against another perennial power, Nebraska, I'm pretty sure The Tigers have Alabama's full attention. We've always struggled with dual threat QB's but have improved a lot over the past few years, especially our DB's. Still not sure that's enough if we can't get to Watson in a hurry. I like our chances, but wish we were the underdog.

They are very good friends & they & their families vacation together. Its going to be a hard game to win but if the D holds for 4 quarters its a win that is very possible. As long as the D doesn't get tired out itll be a 4th quarter game. We just need Watson to be on the money ALL game with his throws & pick apart the Bama secondary. Im no coach but i honestly think thats the only way to beat them. Ive got Clemson winning 24-21 Go Tigers

There isn't time or reason for smack talk. I think the committee got it right this year. Two great teams are gonna play for 60 minutes (or more if it takes it). One will have a few more points than the other at the end, but I don't think either team or coach is dumb enough to think it's going to be easy, nor would think it would go the same way if played again.

if the two coaches (not Dabo/Saban) of teams in this situation came out, started smack talking like boxers and ended up having to be separated at the end of the press conference!

I am not trying to be negative, but Alabama will not take Clemson lightly. Our guys will have to earn it to get it and I believe they can. I still believe our team is going to go down there with the right attitude. All the commentators is saying Clemson's offensive line will not be strong enough to protect Deshaun. They have proven others wrong and I think they can do it. Go Tigers!!!!!!!!!

Re: My Talk

Let me rewind for just a moment and ask all the "talking heads" how does the "crow" taste after having to chew on all the predictions that the "okies" would beat the Tigers. And they get paid for their opinions, what a waste of money. Now for my non-expert opinion on how to beat "Alerbammer". On Offense, spread the field. Run the offense faster that ever. Don't let "bammer" sub in defensive players. Roll out Watson, run that defensive line side line to side line, make them play the WHOLE field. Play a five wide out set every time you can and take advantage of one on one coverage. On Defense, play to stop the run. I know Michigan St. did the same but got burnt on the pass but the Spartans gave way too much cushion on the "bammer" receivers. Play press coverage and bring heat and pressure on their Quarterback. Pop him at every chance and rattle his cage. The other mistake I noticed the Spartans make was attempting to tackle Henry up high. He doesn't run with his shoulders he runs with his legs. Wrap those up and he's not going anywhere. Don't try to out muscle them, play smart, play with leverage, play fast. On a final note: You are not playing a name ( Alabama ). You are not playing a supposed legendary program. It's simply football players on football players. Can "blamer" be beat.....YES. Don't leave anything in the bag. Leave EVERYTHING on the field. Put an end to the doubters Tigers and finish as CHAMPIONS. Nuff said.
