It's a shame

When a post about CLEMSON TIGER FOOTBALL by OUR OWN WRITER goes uncommented for nearly an hour.
Instead let's give the trolls what they want attention.
Dabo cannot talk personally about Reader. Period. If Reader doesn't want to talk..... then we all know nothing.
Thanks David. Go Tigers!

I promise, I just logged in and saw this article, he is a great young man and I can't wait until the season. As for my thoughts or concerns regarding DJ Reader, I am not entitled to know anything about this young man and his personal life and in my mind, I have come to terms with he may not be back so not to be too disappointed if that does happen and if he does come back it will be that much better. As much as we love and support our Tigers, that's really all we can do, love and support our Tigers.

Slow down there metiger. Some of us don't live on the inter web; we don't post every second. Relax and step away from the computer - find your balance for crying out loud (remember, you have a family and a job - this social media stuff should be last on your list).
Hyatt is going to be a phenomenal player - he has the right stuff. He will excel on and off the field; it's in his DNA.
Looking forward to a great season and I appreciate all that these young men give to our university.

Eric Mac Lain is a class act

We're going to miss his gracious comments about other players and all of his witticisms once he leaves Clemson, but we're going to enjoy the heck out of having him this season. What a great tiger representative.

I continue to be impressed with Mr. MacLain's vocabulary, oratory skills, and overall perceived intelligence. I expect him to be involved with Clemson football in some capacity for life. If nothing else he is a great spokesman. Oh, and sorry it took until almost noon for me to post a comment. That pesky job continues to interfere with my Clemson habit.

Mitch Hyatt may not be a 1st rounder this season, and I hope that nobody is expecting him to be. But I believe he will have scouts looking at him as a possible 1st rounder a long time before his career has been completed at Clemson. He has a Clemson FB bloodline from day one and that can't be a bad thing for him self or our team. As I've said time and time again, I've always thought that Clemson has played their best FB when the odds are stacked again them, and I see that being the case this season also. Gooooo Tigerssss loud and proud!!!

Speaking roles

Curious...Are there certain players that are allowed to speak to the press/public? Captains only? Or is it strictly a "no freshmen" are allowed to speak thing?

I do not believe Freshman are allowed to speak to the media until after the first game. Gives the staff time to prepare them for the attention.

is it just me? Has tigernet became the official mouthpiece for MacLain?!

I've been a Mac fan since day one, but every article seems to come from his perspective. Just a random thought. Not bashing anyone. That said, Go Tigers!
