I'd give the special teams as a big edge to UNCheat. They return kicks, we don't. We've given up some big returns. I'm smelling cheap points in this one for the holes. Looks like their FG kicking is about the same as ours with exception they can hit every extra point. Don't mean to be a rain cloud on a very sunny synopsis but I see special teams hurting us tonight.

Why does no one mention the fact that unc had 3 TO's last game AND the game before that??? We can take advantage of THEIR TO's or is it a one way street. MO ONE considers that incheat has played against ONE TOP 25 ranked defense all year long with that being Pitt at 23 or 24??? As long as Dabo doesn't take his foot off the gas, I think we win comfortably.

One of the biggest fears which nags at probably everyone is how will the defense react when we are ahead by a decent margin.
Last weeks game against the chickens indicated they took their foot off the gas with a 21-3 lead in the third quarter, thinking "we got this". Thank God they woke back up in the fourth and held their ground.
Lets hope and pray that our Tigers will do to UNC what they did to Miami.
Wouldn't it be nice to walk away from this game with a shut out, and a large margin of victory?
We can't stop now... our guys need to play this game like or better than they played the first of the season. We ALL know they can do it... THEY know they can do it... and in the immortal words of the man we all know and love .... "gitter done".

Yeah, that is a problem we seem to be having on several occasions this season, taking our feet off the gas.....So with that in mind, maybe someone can remove the brakes on the "D", and we just pour it on with the offense, and I think we will be highly impressed with the results....Oh Yeah, let's also hope we've been cured of fumbleitus. Because too many fans are 'glass half empty'. Clemson is exponentially better than anyone UNC have faced this year. This game has pressure they're not remotely familiar with and Williams will be pressured like no other defense has. Yes, they will gain yards and score points, but they'll be hit with strength, size, and speed they're unfamiliar with. Pay attention to what UVA and Pitt did to their defense...400 yards, while holding UNC down. Can UNC hold Clemson to 400 yards? Do UVA and Pitt have better defenses than Clemson?

Gene Chizik has done a nice job, but I think their defense is slightly overrated by the public. After looking at a few games, this UNC defense will probably be the 5th best we've faced (I have them behind FSU, ND, BC & Lou) this season. We should definitely keep this 500+ypg streak going. UNC's offense will make a few plays but overall, I think our defense will be prepared for the tempo. Remember, they've gone against a high tempo offense since Spring practices. I see this game within the neighborhood of 42-24 with a late, meaningless score potentially making it 42-31.

defense? It's the end of the season, of course they are getting worn down. BUT, so is every other team's defense too. I believe our guys are better trained and in better condition than UNC's defense. It will show tonight.

I think our offense and defense is a heck of a lot better than their offense and defense. Yes, we may give up some points but at the end of the day our defense is going to stop their offense more times than not. We are a more physical team that beats them at every position (even RB in my opinion) and I just don't see us losing this game with DW under center, the kids just a winner. We've got more experience in big games and we have the expectation to win, we have a certain mentality that hasn't been present in Clemson for decades. Not to mention this is Dabo's 100th game as the Clemson head coach, I mean its story book.
A lot of people are upset that the media is hyping up UNC but its actually delighted me. The only chance UNC had of beating Clemson was if Clemson overlooked them, which I was worried about earlier this week..however, ESPN made d@*n sure that wasn't going to happen. Y'all remember the last time ESPN really hyped up a team to beat us this season? I think it was Miami.....
