The ONLY position ...and I mean ONLY one in my opinion that the Coots seem to have had our number in over the past 2 decades would be punter .
It isn't debatable anywhere else ...if you're looking at totals becoming an average for result .

They had some decent recievers too , namely Sharpe , Rice , Williamson , Ellington and Jeffery .
That pails in comparison though with what Clemson has had in the same time frame given .
All positions are the same , they've had a few good ones but we have simply had better and more .

that SC's WRs were better than ours. But I guess to be fair, I don't follow the Gamecocks that closely. But Williams, Nuk, Watkins, Scott, Bryant, Currie, Hamilton, Peake, Ford, Gardner...that's just off the top of my head.

I would say RB is more even than QB WR or LB. We blow them away at QB and especially WR. One WR does not make you better at a position over 20 years and I would say Sammy Mike and Nuk are better or atleast even with Alshon.

For sure , agree completely .
I think Lattimore was on pare with any of our best and had he stayed healthy probably ends up a decent pro ...but they haven't had even 1 other RB that ever made us think we were in trouble .

I mean I guess they use their little 5 year run of success as a measuring stick for 20 years when truth be told we had the better team 2-3 years of that 5 year stretch just found a way to lose some of those games. LIke you said, a be level of stupid. Bless their hearts!! Go Tigers!!!

Of course, one could simply add up the wins & losses of each team and BingO!
I would guess without guessing that Mr Watson's win numbers would overrun their QB's win totals during same period..and Boyd's wins would be right in their with Shaw's, etc.

Yea QB and WR aren't even close and the only reason I put them ahead at RB is because of Lattimore.
I imagine something to the effect of "our QB's played against SEC defenses" would be his reasoning for that.
