New Battle Plan for the big "C" starts tomorrow

Most of you recall how George Patton and the 3rd Army broke out and raced across France after the D-Day Invasion in June/July 1944. Well, we're gonna call our Plan "Break-Out @ Levine" starting 10/16/2018.
We're finally getting the needle biopsy done Tuesday morning, and vitals,EKG/etc that afternoon.
Wednesday morning, we get the first of Lord-Only-Knows how many Clinical Trial infusions spaced every three weeks. Since it is a Trial, we have to be closely evaluated to see how effective it is. we'll be in the clinic six times over a three week period for the first four cycles, then once every three weeks after. We can go in if we "don't feel right".
Sandy and I are really pumped up to get this going, since it has been 8+ weeks since my last treatment. We feel really good about where we are and the methodology we're participating in.
We want all of you to know how much we have appreciated your prayers, messages, thoughts and expressions of concern these past 17+ months. The Good Lord has got this, and we trust Him 110%. It's kinda hard to believe we had two physicians initially tell us I might not see Christmas 2017.
Remember the doctors, nurses, technicians, support staff in your prayers. We are in great hands.
What He wants for me--and all of us--to remember he has a Plan for all of us.

Ron,
I've been battling cancer since 2004... I've gone through 5 surgeries and am on an oral chemo ever day. My Oncologist told me in 04 that my cancer was 95% fatal within five years of diagnosis. I'm on a new drug protocol now and am doing well...keep your faith...God has more planned for both of us. We are Tigers and that is our foundation.

My father landed on Omaha beach with the 3rd Army on June 20th, '44. That was his 30th birthday, but he said he failed to take note of it, under the circumstances, when he was sent straight to the front, where he stayed and fought for the remainder of the war. I was born 12 years later, the youngest of three... Having said that, I can appreciate your hope, love and perspective on life, and your determination to fight the good fight. We found out this morning for sure that I will be receiving both the Clinical Trial Drug and Keytruda to combat these tumors over the ext several months. We spent a lot of time giving blood samples, having vitals checked, EKG's, and a lot of just resting there until the next battery of info collecting. Whoopppeeeeee!!!!!!
Great Staff there!!! They put up with my "nonsense" a lot better than most. I will do exactly what they tell me so their job is as easy as possible. Got a lot of trips int downtown four out of the next five days, but only in the office 30-60 maximum. If traffic good, I can do in 35 minutes no sweat.
What skeers me most are the speed demins on I-85 swapping lanes 'cause they left 5 minutes later than usual. I commuted there 33.5 years and We saw 3 going in @ 6:30 and two coming home at 7 pm tonight.
Just wanted y'all to know we're finally OFFICIAL!!!!
My best to the Best Fans in the USA!!!! All the Prayers lifted by so many of have been answered!
